Biography

Born and raised in Guelph, Katelyn has had a love for acting ever since she took her first tentative steps onto the stage in her High School performance of “You Can’t Take It with You”.

With a passion for writing non-fiction, listening to music far too loudly, playing D&D and watching the behind-the-scenes clips for everything from television to Broadway, Katelyn has always been an artist – and a bit of a nerd - at heart.

Recently she has appeared in a small role in Zoe Hopkin's new 2020 Indie Film "Run Woman Run". Previously she has done work in several student BRTF films - such as “In the Deathroom” as the mad scientist, Heinz - and Game Development projects at Niagara College. A few being characters like Lucy the Devil in “Bad Manors” to eleven-year old Amber in “When I was Afraid”, and as a video-game enthusiast, she had a blast. Katelyn hopes to do more in the future.

She would like to thank her family and all the amazing people she has met for their support and wisdom as she continues to work towards her acting dreams.
